A pub and Old Town
0 comments
I rode through Old Town, a historic part of Chicago the other day. Unfortunately, this is the only shot I have, but I really want to go back and walk around when I have more time and more comfortable shoes! After spending so much time in Ireland last March, I was delighted to find this "Irish Pub" in Chicago- or at least in the style/ flavour of an Irish pub. Hey, it was clean, fun and served Magner's Cider- ON TAP (which is the American version of Bulmer's) so it was all good as I sat and visited, watched European Football (soccer) and drank a pint!

Weather interference
0 commentsI was supposed to go to St. Joe, Michigan today but the weather was not cooperating with this planned trip- it poured down rain all day long!
And it was way too rainy to walk around Notre Dame campus in South Bend, IN today. Well, maybe the next time I'm in that area, I might have time to stop there again!
I might have the chance to get to Indianapolis, IN in August, but who knows at this rate?

Looks like I might be traveling!
0 commentsIf all goes well, this month I'll be in Chicago (again), as well at St. Joe, Michigan and South Bend, IN- so hopefully in the next weeks I'll have some traveling pictures to share!
And it seems like August might take me to Columbus, Ohio...
Not too exotic but anything to ease the wanderlust!
Keep watching,
Mags
